Goodhousekeeper thread tension
Hi,
I have a friend that brought me this Goodhousekeeper machine in hopes that I could put her upper thread tension back together. She loosened the tension too much and it simply fell off.
She found at a sale and does not have a manual. We have looked at ismacs and managemylife for the manual, but have not found anything manuals for this machine.
Anyone have any suggestions or diagrams or pictures on how to fix this upper tension?
Thank you very much!!!
Bobbie

I wish I lived close so I could help - the next best thing would be to look through this manual and see what you can figure out. http://www.tfsr.org/publications/tec...achine_manual/

Thanks Miriam, I had forgotten about that site. I guess gonna have to take this thing apart to get it working. Was hoping just to push it back in place. The machine was sewing well before the tenison failure, in spite of not having been oiled. When I opened up the top there was NO OIL to be seen anywhere, maybe a good thing the tenison fell out.LOL
