Default Graham Forsdyke is "closing" his business

    http://www.singer-featherweight.com/...dard_main.html

I was surprised to read Graham Forsdyke will no longer be re-habbing and selling the high quality Featherweight machines he has produced for sale in the past. I had always felt if I really wanted the best of the best I could always buy one of his re-conditioned machines and have it shipped right to my door!

His site has been where I've gone to drool over Featherweights and also to get information on the Singer 221 and 222 models.

He still has some beauties left but I bet they don't last long and then he says he will be selling off his "vast stock of spares".

His last update to the site will be October 15.

    Christy,

Graham is a true Pioneer and I can't even imagine the state of things before he arrived on the scene. I find it admirable that he would put an end to his buisiness rather than sell machines that arn't up to his standards. Shows one can never be too careful when fooling with old electrical work.

Johnny Cash, the man in black! Brings back good memories. Reminds me of a song I wrote to the "Ballad of Ira Hayes", which is not worth repeating.

One of my favorite Johnny Cash songs. Did you know it's a true story, there's a movie too.

Graham closing this part of his business makes me sad.
