Default Great British Sewing Bee - Vintage episode

Did anyone see yesterday's episode of the Great British Sewing Bee? The contestants used 1930's Singers to make a blouse from a vintage pattern. The show is available to watch on bbciplayer if you are interested.

In Australia, no episodes at all are allowed by the beeb. I believe the first series is available in the U.S. but not the second, so only U.K. members will be able to watch it.

However, if you don't mind bending the law, episodes are easily available if you know where to look.

Thanks for posting. I found some links on YouTube - I watched the other series on YouTube a while back and really enjoyed it. Will try and watch later when I get home.

Cool - I hadn't realized the second series was airing now. I know what I'll be watching this weekend! I'm looking forward to seeing the vintage machines; were the handcranks? treadles? electric? I can't wait...

They were all using electric machines, I was hoping to see some manual machines in action on the show.

I'm watching season 2 episode 2 right now. I am enjoying even with modern machines. Kind of like project runway without steroids!

For those who want to watch but are in the US and can't get the BBC Iplayer working. I've used this browser extension and so far I've seen all the episodes posted: https://hola.org/ Enjoy! I loved the older singers.
