    put a hand crank on that 28 and you can sew anyWHERE

    Mine brought me home at gourmet cook book. Guess he doesn't want a quilt!! LOL

    I have my Grandmother's Singer that was a treddle and eventually electrified -- but I have looked and looked and can't figure out the Model # ---- can anyone tell me where to look?

    There are a couple of places you can find the serial number in:
    The front of the machine under the badge.
    The bottom of the machine under where the machine goes into the cabinet right under the front on the bottom.
    Sometimes on the back under the machine .

    There are a couple of places you can find the serial number in:

    I have machines very similar to yours. And I have your rug only in blue. Maybe it means those machines should be at my house too. :roll: :lol: :-P

    That is exciting!!!! Husbands do come in quite handy!!!!!

    Wow, If my dh came home with three sewing machine you would have to pick me up, off the floor. You have a rare one indeed. Hubby included lol.
