Have you ever seen or heard of a Cottage machine?

I've seen several different Mfg with that particular style of round inspection plate. Could be that they all bought them from the same company when they wanted a "generic" on for a badged machine. Many have the Mfg name on them, so that wouldn't work if they put someone else's name on the arm. The other possibility, the plate got lost and the owner bought a replacement. My Eldredge B came without one, and it didn't take me long to locate a plate that fit and looks original, but I know it's not.

You never know - I have a machine that had the name LaReine and Levy & Sommers, Rayne LA on it and when I started cleaning it the LaReine came off and the name Honey Moon was visible. I believe Davis made the Honey Moon.

Well I don't know when I'll be able to pick it up, but she's mine. The lady however wants to keep the stand since she made it into a table. But that's ok...will fit in my home easier! This is becoming addictive! Don't laugh you know what I mean...you're probably searching the internet right now for your next one!
