I thought so.

Another number that would work for feed dog cover would be 32589. As Mickey said the buttonhole attachment feed dog cover might work. I've heard that offered as a suggestion, but haven't read anyone try it and report back. Another possibility would be like https://shop.sew-classic.com/Feed-Co...nes-P60402.htm

I can confirm the buttonholer works fine on my 99, I have the large black one with a rectangular shape feed dog cover. The slide on cover came in the accessory box, it clicks easily in place for short jobs like darning and anything really. If you are in the UK, Helen Howes has all kinds of accessories and replacement parts for a 99. The bottom 1/4 of this page lists cover plates.

Don’t think I’ve got a buttonholer or a feed dog cover in any of my bits.
Thank you so much for your help.

That's because very, very few 99s were actually treadled. Most were electric or hand cranked.

Thanks for the correction on the zipper foot Cari and confirmation Janey.

Aquilegia, zippers are easy to master. Just takes practice.

My 99k came with only one fiddly bit - a 161127 zipper foot. Maybe it belonged to Michael Jackson's tailor?
