Help Identifying Model For Singer Class 15
My current restoration project is a Singer Class 15 serial number AD504057 which ISMACS lists as a 15-88, number issued May 10 1933. Problem. Everything else about the machine points to a 15-91 -- pot motor, solid hand wheel, minimalist (comparatively) decals... clearly not a conversion. I was sure enough it was a 15-91 that I only checked ISMACS to add a "Birthday" to my collection database. Never run into a mismatch like this. Anyone have a clue why the models would be so far out? Totally baffled.
