Help needed!
Hi everyone, I haven't been here in a long while but need some help with trying to find a piece for a Kenmore Zig Zag sewing machine. My aunt owns this machine which of course she has had for a very long time and the reverse button broke. Therefore we are trying to find a source for locating the piece (the inner workings, I think) since I believe she said she still has the button. My sister did an extensive search online but was unable to find anything and she thought I would be able to get some help from someone on this board. The number for the machine is 148.142.21, I would love to be able to help her with this.
Also since I haven't been here in so long, may I ask is Billy (Lost51) still around? I took my treadle apart based on his instructions and cleaned it and he went into the hospital and the machine stopped working. I would love to get it going again, so if he is not around perhaps we can brainstorm on how to get my girl back in shape.
Thanks for any and all help that you give.

greetings,
I joined after Billy left, but I am sure the folks who specialize in the newer machines will jump in here to help.
As far as the Treadle, pictures help motivate folks around here to chime in faster.

Hi all thanks for the responses. We actually found the same exact machine on ebay and she bought it so she now has a "machine for parts". Again thanks and also for telling me about Billy. SteveH my treadle actually is already on here as well as I think it was my 99 not sure too many since then. I don't know how far back I would have to go to find the posted pics but was very proud of her especially since it was a birthday gift from my sister.
