Default How far should I drive for a free 15-90 Centennial?

At least the Singer looks like a 15-90 Centennial.

This is about 2hrs away, one way

Realize first of all that Singer used that badge for many years. It may not have been made in 51 at all. I personally wouldn't pay $5.00 more for the badge, but some folks really like them.
The 15 clone looks interesting too. and the newer ones can show you why that some of us try to stick to no plastic..

I'd surely want to confirm with the giver that they would still be there at the mid point of your drive.

I have plentyt so I wouldn't do it. 2 years ago I would have made the drive.

I'm glad you said that about the badge, because I would have been driving mostly for that, thinking that it's something very unique. I would strip the Curse&Throw for parts and mess around with the other plastic one; I have 3 15 clones in the garage right now... I did email the person to see if they would hold them for me. It also looks as though there are some accessories for the Singer 15.

See if he can give you the serial number of the Singer 15 and maybe you can check when it was made.

I made the drive, turns out it was worth it. In addition to the 4 machines, she gave me a bunch of parts as pictured, lots of foot controllers of which I happen to need one for a 99 I just finished last night!
I'm curious about the sage green light/motor/bobbin winder, I have not seen that color and the bobbin winder has "Great Britain" on it. Anyone have any idea what it may have been on?
The table for the 15-90 was barely standing, way beyond what I could handle so it stayed, but I did get the table pictured which had the 15 clone.
The 15-90 says "Made in Canada" on the top of the arm, serial number JC232014, I have not seen one from Canada, the 99 I just finished has "Great Britain" in the same place.
Also, does anyone know off hand if cams for 600/603 are backwards compatible to a 403 (which I picked up Sunday for $25...)?
The giver also has a VS machine/table of unknown make for me.

    Definitely worth it !!!!!!!!!

The green light may go to a 319. Some cam info can be found at http://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/pattern_cam_list/ And that split cabinet is beautiful. There was some discussion about that type of grain on that cabinet elsewhere on the net, but I don't have time to look for it right now.

    Have fun.

or a 185 j or a 15 variation. Those controllers were worth the trip by them selves. Well done, good sir

Oh, for JC numbers - there aren't detailed records for those. There is a time frame at the bottom of the page - https://www.singersewinginfo.co.uk/stjohns/
