    Jeanette and Steve,
I know that this is off topic, but wanted to add my memories to this thread. I was living in Orlando until I was 13 (1963). I remember being in school (Feb. 1962) watching the Mercury launch (1st manned launch with John Glenn) on TV. After it was off the ground everyone went out side to see the rocket in the air. I decided on the day to become an astronaut. Severe susceptibility to motion sickness ended that dream. Oh well!

Very Cool! Yeah, that one trip to Orlando cured me of wanting to go back.... Lizards on the walls.... crazy humid.....

I wanted to be a pilot but bad eyes killed that. My first job in the Air Force was Flight Simulator Maintenance and Operation, so close....

How do you identify the model and year of your Howes? I have two of them and would really like to know more about them. Thanks!

Most of the serial number list has been preserved. If you have them I can look them up for you or send you to sites with data...

Remember that there are serial numbers on the frame near the front in the slide depression (usually on the flat right surface) and that is more accurate that then the slide plates which have occasionally been swapped) if they match all the better!!

Yes, very interesting and educational to boot. Steve, do you have a website that features your machines and what you intend them for?
