Default I found out what kind of machine I have

Several weeks ago I posted this picture of my new machine. Someone suggested it was a Gold and they were kinda right. It is Home Shuttle (O4) made in 1870 That company morphed into New Home. Can anyone recommend a good video that shows how to take a machine apart and clean it? The wheel turns part way and the needle area goes up and down.

Your best bet is to post the pic over at the Victorian Sweatshop forum and ask them. You'll find the best people over there. http://www.victoriansweatshop.com/?forum=501752

and they come apart ALL THE WAY!!

This is my 1868 (Prototype for your machine) this one was made in the original test batch of 1000-2000 and was not "serial numbered" but it is very very similar to yours.

Cool Machine, glad you found out about it. Wish I could find one that old that looks nice!
