Default I have wanted to take this apart since I got it... so I did.

I got this Boye Needle case a while back. It worked ok but was sloppy and rough in its movement.

Last night I found that three of these tiny screws were holding it together.

those are so neat! I keep talking myself into and out of getting one. Right now I'm saving up in case I find something really nice on my way back north from Florida next weekend. Well, not really I guess, just won an auction for a Singer 27 pheasant- with a lot of neat accessories to go with it.

What a wonderful find you have there. Years ago, I had to find a dime store that had one of those tins, so that I could buy needles for my Wheeler and Wilson Family #9. I sewed all of my children's clothes on that machine until they were teens.
