Boy, do I feel silly! I forgot about AF's day, but also didn't think you were serious.

I thought you were writing a poem!

I have this same exact machine and I sew with it everyday! I bought it new several years ago. Gave it to my daughter. She never used it so I took it back and brought it to Texas with me. It has an awesome stitch and I love it!

LOL!! Had me going for a second too, but I was too aware of the date yesterday to be fooled for long!

My boss put his notice in yesterday. Everybody thought it was a joke...it wasn't, he had just forgotten what day it was. (I'm really bummed, I love my boss!)

I love my old machines but I also love my 6600. There's room in my heart for all kinds of sewing machines.

the minute a straight stitch quality was compared to the quality of an almost straight zig-zag ... First thought was 'this is a joke' (left-over from yesterday)

If my boss quit I would cry - and I love all the old machines and you all know it. I'm glad everybody caught on eventually. It was fun wasn't it.

I keep going into his office and loudly fake-sobbing at him. It wasn't a surprise to me, he'd confided in me over a month ago that he was interviewing and would be leaving shortly. It's going to be terrible, I'm VERY fond of my boss, both as a manager and as a human being. He's one of 4 people leaving right now, between them that's almost 60 years of experience with this company leaving. I'm getting some static myself but I refuse to let a crappy VP push ME out of MY job. (I've been here 20 years, this is MY place, not his!) I'll just hunker down and hang on tight...eventually they upper-ups will figure it out and get rid of the new guy. It's just terrible we're losing so many good people in the meantime.

I love me a good April Fool's prank, but I didn't do any this year. Last year I filled the shower head with protein powder so DH had a chocolate shower first thing in the morning. LOL Kind of surprised he didn't get me back this year!
