Nice machine, Steve. I had one similar to yours, but yours has better decals. Mine was an 1889 model with serial number 8745940. I re-homed it when we downsized to move my Mom in with us in 2011.
I missed it, so I recently replaced it with a 1901 Singer 27K2 Convertible.

I have this machine also. However, mine came with a motor attached. the wheel turns so smoothly that I would like to put a handcrank on it but there is no boss mount. For now it is just sitting in the case it came in until I figure out exactly what to do with it. But I love the decals although the decals on mine are not in quite as good condition as yours. Beautiful machine.
