Since this is in the vintage section, I assume you are asking about VINTAGE machines. Out of all my vintage machines I'd also keep one of my 301s if I had to choose.

I LOVE my Juki TL 98Q for both piecing and FMQing!!! I wish I could use that machine for EVERYTHING, but it only does a straight stitch (and does it VERY, VERY well).

It'd be a tossup between my 201 and 15-91. Although, the featherweight is awesome for piecing, and I do have a mid-arm for quilting. I can't decide on just one. Please don't make me choose!

To date, the 301, but I haven't tried FMQ on the 15 yet. The bigger bobbin is appealing, but will it offset the great visibility of the slant needle? AnnieRose has done a fantastic job both piecing and FMQ even if her bobbin's capacity is limited.

That would be like asking which child would you keep. If I had to give up my any of my collection I would distribute them to my kids then I could go visit them and the sewing machines with a good excuse.
