I'm looking for a presser foot ............
....................... but not a normally found one.
When I sew my bags I try to bring my stitch lines together at the end and back tac them so they are unobtrusive. But I can't see worth a hoot anymore. Elaine handed me her reading glasses yesterday and darned if I couldn't see again. Sigh ................ getting old stinks.
Anyway, what I'd like to find is a transparent, narrow ( think Singer SS foot ), low shank foot that I can use on my SS machines. I've tried the wider ZZ feet and they work, but I can't get the same spacing with them as I do the narrow SS foot.
So, any body know of such a thing and where I might get one?

white Teflon foot like a regular straight stitch foot except white -- Might be easier to see due to greater contrase between it and the fabric color?

I have both of those. I've used the wide toed foot and it works OK for seeing the thread lines but it's wider than I want.

The reason for the straight stitch size foot is because of the narrow 1/8" (?) right side toe. I use the edge of the foot sometimes as a guide and the wider footsies are too wide for what I"m doing.
The 1/4" foot would be great for piecing, but I've got that covered.
I'm gonna check with my LSMG and see if he's got any of these.

Joe, one time I had to have something like that and in a hurry, so I took my dremel tool and gently shaved away what I needed to be gone, then polished up the edge until smooth. It worked I figured if it failed I was not out too much. Not like it was vintage or anything.
