Is the body steel or aluminum? Try a magnet.

Leon - That is a mess-o-wires )
Just checked with a magnet and the body is steel.....and because you are so helpful with information can you tell me what is best to use to just polish a couple places where they had used tape (probably as seam allowance guide), there is a bit of glue left. Don't want to harm the decals.
Thanks again!

Don't reach for a polish yet. Soak the tape residue with sewing machine oil. rub it gently with your fingers. Do it a few times and it may come off.. You might not need the polsh.

Sew Classic has a number of quarter inch feet to fit that low shank machine. I purchased a walking foot from them, and am very happy with it.
