Mine is similar to yours. I bought it at a yard sale 44 years ago, sewed on it for two years until I got a new machine. This one is built like a featherweight, small throat, 5 1/2 inches, but heavy 35 to 40 pounds, all metal. Serial #J39698, Model De Luxe, Made In Japan. The gold decal on the arm is partially worn off, but I could say Imperial ?? It came with a packet of size 14 needles that said "Organ needles for the sewing machine" I would like more information as it is a neat machine, run smoothly am has a nice stitch. For some reason it won't let me post a picture

Welcome aboard Jenny77. Pictures have to be very small to be posted here. Look up info on Singer 15 clones if the thread tensioner is on the faceplate . Tons of info on these. but dating is nearly impossible.
