    that is so neat! Even if it's not a Singer lol!

    Singer was also very good about stamping part numbers all over the place, so that is another way to check if the more obvious things (like feed dog knob) aren't there.

    Oh, that's fascinating! I'll have time to dive in and read more after Christmas is over. This lead up to the holidays is insane, and the house seems to have decided to break on top of that - water heater thermostat, squirrels ate a hole in the house and were partying in the attic, sunroom heat pump gave up the ghost. Insanity reigns here!!

    I did notice when starting to research old Singers, there were part numbers galore! That helped me find the right knee bar for the 128. Love the OCD part number thing!!

    The ruffler is apparently very popular in the ballet industry and for costuming. People who make curtains also love it.
