Default Just Got My First Vintage Machine

A Singer 1906 Lotus model 66 treadle. I found it on craigslist. I had seen it advertised for weeks for $500 and no sale. I picked it up for $100. It has a motor and the wiring looks bad so I will take it off. The machine works fine but it badly needs cleaning inside and out. The treadle works great too. I've been busy reading everywhere how to do it. The cabinet is in good shape and it has all the drawers. One of the drawers was full of all sorts of accessories including a buttonhole attachment.

I will post some before and after pictures. I can't wait to get it done and actually learn to sew with it.

How fun and what an adventure you've begun! That 66 will sew through a brick.
