Default Just inherited this....

My mother in law made a quilt for each of her grandkids on this machine. The last one she made was for my daughter almost 23 years ago, and I still have it in the closet. I'm not sure how old this machine is, but I know it was made in Cleveland, OH. It has a list of patent numbers on the stitching plate, and a serial number attached to it. I found the "carry box" to be just as interesting. It looks like it was hand made out of wood, and covered in a heavy fabric and something that looks like alligator skin. Does anyone know how I can find out more about this little beauty?

I don't remember who owns the White name these days. I do know they have pretty good records and can probably tell you when it was made if you call with the serial #. I'm guessing the case is probably from the 40s or 50s and probably isn't original to the machine.
Very pretty machine.
