How many different cams and what patterns are available for this machine? Would you experts of all old machines consider $50 in a cabinet a good price (with 4 boxes of cams, buttonhole maker and monograms)? I would have to drive 50 miles min. depending on exactly where it is, only gives a town name. It is not a good looking cabinet and I would change it to a better cabinet later or to a portable case. I am new to this vintage machine thing but I'm afraid I may catch the "bug". I am going to wait and offer $25 tomorrow since the price has dropped half yesterday and a little more today. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

Yes yes yes....I would recommend this machine! It's a true work horse and it has many built in stitches along with I think 30 more stitches using the cams. The price is good, but even better if you can get it and all of the attachments for $25. Good luck!

I have a 1813 and for $30 I got the machine in a cabinet with nothing else. I had to buy most of the race assembly because it just wasn't there. I still don't have any cams or attachments but I'm working on that.
So yes, a pretty decent deal.
