Unbelieveably cool sewing machine! It's so cool it doesn't need to work; it just has to look pretty.

If I had space for it, I'd buy it in a flash. It would fit right in with my DH's antique radio collection, and I think he'd even like to see it with them.

no doubt a class 15 bobbin - even if the bobbin case is MIA you can get them, too. It is likely like a clone down under.

It's very cool. However, it's also missing the motor. You can get a replacement motor at Sew-Classic I think for around $20.00. You'd also need a cord block set and foot controller, a belt and a bobbin case. All of those should be pretty standard for a 15 class. You can take all that into consideration as to the total cost, but there are no bids yet. You might get lucky but there is a group of people who hop on items at the last minute over there and really drive the prices up quickly. YMMV.

Good luck if you decide to go for it. If I saw that locally, I'd snatch it up.

Edit to add: It also looks like it takes high shank presser feet.

I'm thinking it should. I need to haul that machine off the shelf and give a go over. I understand that those machines were big dollars when new.

I love it. It would look great just sitting on a shelf.

She's really busy and probably not reading QB ATM. I see her on the weekend and will get a photo of the machine's connectors if possible. However, it's likely the power cable is directly wired into the motor and the FC will have a two round prong connector - Australian clones all had the same Wertheim foot controller and connector. I've had loads of clones and only one or two have had a motor with a power cord that can be disconnected at the motor.
You can, however, wire pretty much any FC onto your machine (they're very simple).

I'd love to have this just to look at. I saw one once but the rust was dripping out the seams so I passed on it. Hope you rescue it & give it a good home!
