    I have made a little home made shim and it seems to help some. But, I also tightened up a loose part and that made a lot of difference. I'll keep using my home made one for a while, then decide if I'm going to spend the money on the factory made ones.

    i use them on my machine and i noticed it makes a differance , i dont know if it will work for the noise but i wont sew on my machine without a bobbin washer in it , love them , i bought a package of them on line and the price was pretty cheap . they also last for a long time , if i remember were i got them i will let you know
