yes just the top maybe some of the back i usually restore things like that but I may take this to a professional to fix

Wow that's a lovely cabinet. You have a Japanese Singer clone. They are wonderful machines.
I sew with a Singer 15-90 treadle its a very smooth machine. The cabinet this machine is in, is a frankenstein cabinet. lol its got a Singer top and Elgin irons. Its fun to sew with, I piece most of my quilts with my 2 treadles.
