Congratulations on getting your Featherweight! I have one too, but lately I’ve gotten caught up in industrial machines. Can we see a photo of your Singer 16-188?

I passed one up about 50 miles from me a couple of weeks ago. I’ll probably regret that decision. I’ve had remorse from passing up machines before, so this one will probably be another one....

here's my 16-188. story of this one - i was looking at CL and found this 16-188 that was listed for $1. you know how CL works - when it's $1 on the header it means more when you open and read the contents of the ads. out of curiosity i emailed the guy and it took me a couple emails for him to reply. i clearly asked him if he is really selling it for $1 ! he said yes. he just want this out of the house. it's just 12 miles from me so no biggie. drove there and i saw the machine just sitting on the curve. i was like - what - anyone can just grab that and run. called the guy and talked to him and was nice enough to even help me carry it in my truck. when i saw that everything looks ok i grabbed a $1 and added $4 more. i was like thanks for helping me. just waiting for some parts i ordered online and i will try to run it. thanks.
