Meet "Lizzy"
#1
I recently purchased "Lizzy". She is a "New Home D". I am having a problem finding the serial number. I will have to have Billys help, I am sure. She doesn't have the usual cabinet. I had to buy a new belt and clean and oil her but she does sew like a dream.

I love it!!!
The serial is on a the slide plate and PM me the number and I can date it for you. The only thing is if sometime through the years it lost the original plate they could have put another one on it and then the serial will be out. But it looks like it was very well taken care of and it is more than likely the original.

Yes, it's a parlor... but it doesn't have the double opening doors. I'm just curious that's all... especially since the original post said something that the 'cabinet was not the usual'.
