But, everything will have to wait. I got a call a few minutes ago saying that there is “an early White sewing machine setting outside and behind the house at 417 N. 9th Street. It’s yours for free if you want it, we’re moving and won’t be there today, but will be back in a couple of days to haul everything that remains to the landfill. Take anything else that you want from the pile of things around the sewing machine.”

Yea. I guess I'd better mosey over there and see what it is....

Don’t they know that I already have way more sewing machines than I need?

Check! One large tub of Tiger Tail ice cream on the list.
Believe it or not, I don't think I ever tried it until I was about 17. I always thought black licorice was gross and would ruin the orange ice cream. Luckily, I was wrong. I haven't had it in years though, I can't have milk anymore.

I don't drink wine either (allergic), I give it for Christmas gifts though. I usually pick by finding a bottle with a label I like the look of. So that means a lot of people get Little Penguin. I like the look of the Apothic Label too. So far, no one's (had the heart to tell me?) said it was vinegar...

Well Miriam, here’s a photo of the Shopping Center......
It seems that there was a little miscommunication in the sewing machine description. The words “white” and “free” are both present, but in a different order than I thought I would find them....

I didn’t want to appear greedy, so along with the Free sewing machine and cabinet, I only brought home one 8-foot pickup load of stuff....

Now, I’ve got to figure out where to put it and get it unloaded.....

It’s the first cabinet that I’ve seen like it. It looks to be in good condition, except for the white paint. I think all of the cords and their plugs are there too (knee control in cabinet). The machine has the Rotoscillo Movement under it. I noticed that when I took it out of the cabinet....

What’s a sewing machine party without a sewing machine give-away? If anyone here at the party wants to take it home with them, it’s Free if you want to haul it off.....

I'm glad that I went and got the Free Westinghouse Electric and its cabinet when I did....

We had a downpour of rain that I had to wait out to unload things (camper shell on pickup kept things dry) just an hour or so after returning home. Everything that I left there got totally soaked, and I'm sure suffered some water damage. Oh well, I can't save everything.....

Well, I know I'm late, but, had to cook. I will bring funeral potatoes too. I really do cook them for funerals. They always call me. I hope there are a lot of people still there. I would feel really bad missing the party. I'll bring my old Touch and Sew. It is finally making a grinding noise. I have kept it well cared for and I bought it new in the 60s. I think. Gotta get ready to leave. Barny
