Default Missing middle slant drawyer for my treadle machine cabinet.

My treadle machine cabinet is missing the middle drawer that opens and slants toward you.

My question is I've seen them sold individually on ebay and wonder if that is the best place to buy one and....do all those drawers fit any original treadle cabinet? Is there anywhere else I can find one?

Thanks so much for your help.

There is an eBay seller here in NC (I am in Wilmington) who must get old sewing machines by the dozens from somewhere. His eBay ID is lalaney. I am sure he can get you the drawer you need.

You will have to identify your cabinet before you can look for the middle drawer, though. Are you a member of TreadleOn yet? You should join if you aren't. It is the best way to learn about old machines, and it is a free list.

Just Google TreadleOn, and you will find it. It is a wonderful resource.

Thanks so much both of you for the information. The cabinets belonged to my Grandmother and Great Aunt. How does one determine the type of cabinet they have? These came from the early 1900's.

Gladys, what is the machine in the cabinet with the missing drawer? Is it possible you can post a photo of the cabinet?

I can post a picture just not tonight. There is no machine in the cabinets. I have a machine in the treadle I use which has all it's drawers. These are two I found. One of these I found at my mom's house in the attic and the other was in my Aunts basement. I have another treadle singer machine that I wanted to set up in one of the cabinets. I'm pretty sure they're both Singer on the black iron part but I'll check and see. I know one is very dark. Thanks guys I'll try to post a picture of them this weekend. I really appreciate your help.
