Thanks for clearing up the feet Joe. I don't own any high or super high shank machines so seeing them side by side and knowing what they are helps a lot. The slant shank does look a lot like the high shank foot to me.
$2 is a great price for any machine. You really can't go wrong for that. If the light bulb works, you've already got your money back.![Smile](https://cdn.quiltingboard.com/images/smilies/smile.png)
I'm not too sure about the finish but it took seeing the crinkle finish on a White 77 in person to make me like it. It could be the same thing with yours.

My "herd" consists mostly of Kenmores and some Singers. I had the good fortune to find this "Montgomery Ward" model UHT J1261 machine for $2. Really dirty and has a little corrosion on foot pedal and on the bottom of the only presser foot. No big deal and sews like a dream. I would like to find more presser feet. So far none of my other feet are a match. Can anyone lead me in a direction? I see MW machines on ebay but no attachments. I realize there was no MW sewing machine company of course.
I took a photo of the presser foot but the file is too big to upload here and I can't figure that out. Anyway, it's a slanted. high foot, not low shank.
Thanks so much!
Kathie
