Thanks everyone for the lovely compliments.

Thank you that appears to be what is missing. Thank you for the photo.

So they are bluebells, I wasn't sure. I like them a lot.

I am going to use Glenns thread and just go for it. Kinda scary but she is worth that kind of a cleanup. It will be my first iron lady thorough cleaning.

DH will do the woodwork but that will come later.

Beautiful. Those are the same drawers and singer pulls as I have but mine is the drawing-room cabinet with the lift.

I love the colorful floral decals on the fiddle base machines. Mine has apple blossoms so it is not as colorful.

Wow So many people have a bad case of envy - it is sew contagious! I like it a lot and would take a long drive for one of those any day... Well unless it is snowing........ and it is - we have at least 4 of our 1 - 2 inches and it is still coming.

As a contrast, we've had a smoke haze in the city for about a week from several bushfires burning throughout the state. Not sure what's less desireable but something in between our boiling hot and your freezing cold would be nice

You are very welcome. We have been looking at it more closely and it does have some missing wood pieces and metal pieces. I am on the lookout for a parts cabinet. It just all kinda snowballs doesn't it? LOL

How fun to see yours. I have been working on the same machine this winter. I just got her to sew but need to wok on the stitch length. Mine was missing the drawers but I happened to have some on hand.
i still need the leaf holder.
