It's 'Godzilla' not 'gorilla' :-) Maybe cause it looks a little like a reptile? Thanks for the chuckle...

How could I have mistaken Godzilla for gorilla!?! This is why I've supported Alzheimers Art Quilt Initiative & Alzheimers research. A green Godzilla machine - I better check for radioactivity. Godzilla is a family hero.

It looks so cool; not ugly at all to me. Funny you spent 5 hours and umpteen gallons of gas, but you'll forget that soon enough while you're putting miles on that lean, green, sewing machine!

Well I"m glad your searching was fruitful. Even if it may not feel like the perfect fit, it's a fun pursuit!

Neat looking green. First green crinkle paint I've seen on a sewing machine. Keep the rubber wheel disengaged when you're not using the machine. If it's like others of it's type the rubber drive wheel will develop flat spots if it sits up against the hand wheel too long.

nice green machine. see that's what i call true antique collector. getting a machine for $20 yet driving 2.5 hours is nothing, as long as we got the machine that we love - at a good price. driving that far is half the fun, seeing your machine is just priceless. congrats.

Thanks Rodney for the tip. Does anyone know what model this is? I can't find anything on the machine and I'd like to get a manual. I've checked ISMCS, Needlebar, Sewing Educational but can't find the model with the rear bobbin wheel. I'd love to find more New Home links. If you need more pics to determine the model, I'll happily oblige. Roar!

Maybe the serial # is under the base of the machine near the needle plate area. I used an led light flashlight to find mine.
