Love the story and wish mine would find the real oldies when he goes, but he bought a plastic Brother. won't work, need to try the triflow to see if that helps. I have a lot of older machines, but would love a Pfaff. He has a cousin who has some, but she is getting elderly and unable to take care of the house by herself anymore. Should stop by sometime to see if she wants to sell.
