How wonderful that you have a family featherweight.
Enjoy her for many years!

I, too, have my mom's featherweight. It taught my two sisters and me, and ALL of our friends. My aunt even made a tent on it, and she hated sewing. Interestingly, I have that aunt's featherweight , too and it's pretty pristine. I love them for the past and family connection. In a surprise move, i acquired a third fw. I placed a bid on shopgoodwill.com! I won the bid, well under $200, so i feel really good about it. I have 1 and two halves dgd's, who i hope will want to learn to sew on a featherweight also. Plenty of time ahead!
