I haven't sewn on any of the 400-series Singers yet, but I have to say my Rocketeer is quickly becoming my favorite machine. (They're essentially the same machine but with a different shell, right?)
I love it just for its looks but it sews SO nicely too! It's my new favorite travel machine (for local travel; would never trust it to airplane baggage handlers). It is a greatmachine all the way around.
