Default My new Batavus hand Crank from Holland??

I have a new hand crank that I got tonight so will have pictures tomorrow in better light. All I know it was made around 1904 by the Batavus Co. They now make only mopeds and scooters. It is a cross between a Singer 28 and a Jones. I know he had a manufacturing plant and still does for the mopeds. The company has not made a machine since 1904. The article said he made and sold watches and sewing machines in the begining and was short lived when he went into making the mopeds. This machine may have been made by the company but I think it maybe a badged machine. It uses a wasp shuttle like the singer 27,28 and takes 15X1 needles. Any body have any info on this machine? It has a reverse and German type bobbin winder.
    Thanks, Skip

Beautiful machine! The crocodile pattern reminds me of Pfaff machines -- was there a connection?

Enjoy using. Heck, enjoy looking at it!

I agree Steve, sure looks like Jones had something to do with this machine. It is also very close to my Anker hand crank. I am sure it is a badged machine.
