same debate i was having regarding the plating. I will pass on doing that for now. Stock but functional.
It picked up a stitch tonight!!!!!!
It promptly made it into a birds nest, but it did it.
I know I am threading the bobbin wrong and there is now upper tension spring, so duhhhh.
BTW Thanks to the folks at Needlebar and Cathy I know it uses G&B #19 needles (yeah right) or a Boye #2 (got lots) or a 13x1 (I'm looking)
Here is the business end when i started

Borrowed a winder from a Howe B treadle (has the pin for the hole in the bobbin as well... Score!)
