Default my new Grover & Baker Lockstitch Treadle is on the way!!!

I finally managed to finagle a deal on one of these very very rare machines.

It is on the way to my house as of today!

I do not have a solid date for it yet, but I believe it is a model #9 and I believe it dates from before 1870

Wow, I've never seen one like that before. You no doubt will turn it into a showpiece.

Very cool. It's almost minimal in design.

It will be interesting to see what year you find on that, I know someone that has three. two are open stands, but the flywheel is mounted center and sideways , the other is a parlor it's flywheel is on the right side, none of the heads are that style. from what I have seen in photo's they put the flywheel on the side in the 70's ???????????

This has ladys 160 + treadles hand cranks and toys. then start counting the eletric's and homeless heads LOLOL..
