You did good! She'll give a sigh of relief when you are done cleaning. Pretty, pretty, pretty. My brother has one like yours. It was a mess, cleaned it all up and it's beautiful. Enjoy!

Started on the machine today by giving her an oil bath...WOW, what an improvement. Put penetrating oil on the several stuck areas. Now it is a bit of a waiting game as we must go out of town Sat. Thanks for all your wonderful comments. I was surprised that so many have or have family/friends who also have this model. She is such a quiet lady when I hand turn the wheel. (My mother, Millie was also very quiet too so guess that part of the name fits). I am still on cloud 9; isn't that silly? You wouldn't think that a little OLD sewing machine could bring such happiness. What will it be like when she is fully dressed and ready to go to work? Thanks too, to Charlee and Glenn for their guidance.
