My New (Old) National Treadle Machine!
Wow! This thing came from my 86 year-old aunt's house -- it belonged to my husband's grandmother who died in 1960! I have no idea how old it is! It is extremely dusty, lots of cobwebs, but it has been kept inside a house. The hand wheel does turn easily! We had to disassemble it to get it home, and it will be easier to clean up that way anyhow! Of course, it needs a belt, but I want to clean it up before I worry about the belt!
I want to take pictures, but I can't lift it out -- since I'm still recovering from back surgery! Woo Hoo!
It's a beauty -- has a cabinet, too, of course! As I said, it all needs to be cleaned, but there's not much rust, if any (you can't see any rust for the dust)

Sandra, I have my son to lift it out -- but we got home today barely in time for him to go to his regular job! I guess we'll be unloading when he gets off work at 10:00 p.m. I will get pictures taken and downloaded so i can post them. This machine is really not in bad shape at all. The decals are in pretty good condition. At least I know where the machine has been for the last 30 years! LOL
