awesome! I'd be pinching myself to find those deals! I'm still making my way through my mom's machines (she found good deals at estate sales/garage sales/yard sales) and so far I have a 401a, 403, and 503...was hoping I'd find a 500 in the stash somewhere but guess she didn't find that one unless it's the one stuck in the cabinet i couldn't get out when we were moving them... got some good ones from her though and think I'll enjoy the 401 and 403 and probably the 503 if I can find the cams - pretty sure she has some of the cams.

she also has a couple of 328ks? can't remember the number exactly but think that's right... kinda ugly little heavy suckers and they take the flat cams which between the 2 I haven't found a single cam! I debated buying some on ebay but then wondered why spend that much on those cams when I'm more likely to use the 401/403/503 machines more?! ok other than being kinda ocd in having things have all their stuff!

Well, I guess I have myself to blame. The package I got from my e-bay bid contained a general purpose foot and a hemmer foot, and a tiny screwdriver, plus the Top Hat Cams, and a red button. What a joke! I'm not laughing, though. I emailed the seller and let him know that I wasn't really happy, but I don't want to complain to e-bay because I need the cams. Still, I think that a "box of attachments" should include more than a couple presser feet that you can purchase retail for a couple of dollars each.

Lesson learned.

Quilt938, I did see some of the 328K cams on e-bay, and they're much less expensive than the Top Hat Cams. I don't recall exactly how much but very inexpensive compared to the Top Hat Cams for the 403A. I would check and see exactly what your mom had before you buy anything for the machines. Also, check out the machines--if they don't work, you probably won't want to buy accessories for them!
