So excited for you. Lovely sewing machine and cabinet. I gave my dining room table and chairs to DD, all the flat surface did was to collect stuff and we never ever sat at the table for a meal. The space it took now houses five sewing machine cabinets.

well my dining room table is nothing but sewing machines, buttons, bobbins, vintage notions and parts, I think I am going to be told about it soon......... blah blah blah... and the garage and the cellar and the attic, even some in the mud room......

I'm another "no couch" person, though I do have a loveseat. It got moved into the bedroom to make room for my Gracie quilt frame.

Now it's got a small sewing cabinet on each end LOL!! But DH really wanted to keep the loveseat, so we compromised.
