Makes me wonder if it was made into a lamp because it didn't work, but was still beautiful.
I love the looks of it. And you can buy the lights that are like ott's to give the daytime light, and have a beautiful lamp for just about any room.

I think I would put a different shade on it, screw in an Ottlite bulb and have a built in sewing light! It has beautiful decals and it wouldn't be hard to either find a vintage motor or handcrank to actually sew with it.

OMG!! I didn't know it was turned into a LAMP!!?? Good Grief!!! Someone had to much time on their hands!! Ditch the lamp and try to refurbish the machine, to beautiful a piece to ruin.
