    My mom's name is Minnie and as we speak I am making a quilt strictly on her treadle she got as a wedding present in 1945 from one of her aunt's. It is a New England Queen and I also made doll clothes on it and my high school home projects on it when I took Clothing I and II. I love these stories!

    That is a great story and I am glad you have your machine back. Just curious, do you still have the newer machine that you purchased to replace your Mom's machine back then?

    well the one I traded her for, I don't recall what I did with that. The other machine that I bought later on, I ended up donating it about 5 years ago to a women in Florida.. Can't even remember what her name was.........
