My design wall is lightweight purple carpet. Couldn't pass up the good deal we paid for it and it works well for what I am using it for.

I collect Singer stuff, as you can see by the one shelf. My favorites are the machines and I am most blessed to have a bunch of them as well. Not enough room in here for them, so the rest of our Singers (8) reside in our living room with the other 10 machines we have. Hubby has his recliner and I have a glider/rocker. No couch or love seat. Had to have room for the machines. lol

My sewing room is a wonderful place to create and most times I spend my afternoons here sewing and catching up on the quilting forum.
Your room puts me in mind of my sewing room. I have a huge bookcase with books, ND i LIKE TO GO TO THE THRIFT STORES AND FLEA MARKETS AND and find wooden wall racks to put my thread and stuff in. I will put some pictures on here one day when I can get my camera from my daughter. She is using it now. I love my sewing "studio" ha. dont you?

I love my room too. I lose track of time when I am in there working. Most evenings hubby finds me in there enjoying my quiet time sewing and listening to music. So peaceful and relaxing. Looking forward to seeing your "Studio".

This makes me think of my mother's Singer and my grandmother's treadle. I too have some of my mother's threads in a green Mason jar, only with a lamp conversion lid.

I enjoyed seeing your room and your vintage singers. I collect vintage singers too but I have decided that I won't collect anymore. (Too bad because I loved the 201 that you had in your pictures and I haven't collected one of those.) I have 13 vintage singers plus 3 modern machines.

    Great pictures!

By far my favorite is the laptop computer sitting next to the vintage machine!
