Love that table. Such a nice piece of furniture. $25.00 is a great price for such a neat sewing machine and table and stool. Lucky you.

I bought a 201 in that same kind of a cabinet for $10 at auction. No stool tho. I would like to find one that matches my cabinet. I like mine too, I also have a 15-91 that is not in a cabinet. would like to put her in a wood desk with drawers etc for all attachments.

As for family history, my sewing machines don't count...they, with the exception of one, are MY history, not that of my family, and will most likely be sold on my demise. I would like to know that each of the 4 kids was at least offered one of them tho...
    I have one too....love it !!!

My 83 year old mother still has 3 sewing machines and she's already given me her old 1955 Singer. I'm the only one in the family other than a cousin in Norway that even knows how to turn one on, so they'll be mine after she passes. I'll share with Inger Anita, but she'll probably only want one since they are on a different type of electrical current. I'll probably go through my collection at that time and make some decisions. The ones that I can live without will probably be donated to the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY, to either use, or auction for a fund raiser. She would want to see her machines used...as would the lady who previously owned my 15-91. To have them go to someone who will lovingly care for them and use them instead of keeping them packed away would be the best legacy they could have.

Oh, I've had a friend offer me a cabinet of some sort, but I haven't seen it yet...no machine. If I can't use it, is there some place here that it is ok to offer things like that for postage?

Well done!!! That is my favorite Singer cabinet and I looked and looked ... finally found one with a 15 Clone in it. I plan on swapping it with my 15-91 (when I finally get it off the work bench!).

That's a gorgeous cabinet and machine! And what a bargain, with all you got with it and the condition of everything. I've never seen the extension to the right of the machine before. Clever idea. Congrats!
