Which way does the needle thread? Looks like front to back.
If it is, I would probably not worry about the thread entrance side as long as the screw to hold the collar to the needlebar screws in the correct side.
I probably have one from a 457 here, but with the cost of shipping, it's as cheap or cheaper probably for you to get it from SPO.

The needle does thread front to rear, however the thread comes to the needle from the left. So the one from SPO won't work. I already have one like that one a dead donor machine and I tried it. The thread keeps coming out.
As it turns out my LSMG had the correct one, so in a bit we'll be all back together and ready to sew.

Joe, I looked through my supply, I have one that is similar, but the line on the broken piece, is reversed from yours, I don't know if it will work, but if you think it will, send me a private message, and you can have it, no charge. I'm just trying to pay it forward, all of the parts I have were given to me.
