    Yep, it's a denim quilt and yep my hands were all but froze touching that cold iron machine.

    I wish more of my treadles sewed as good as this one does.
    The only problem I have with it is needles. It takes the 127x1 size and they are just not really available.

    Hi Joe,

    I've heard on good authority that DBx1 needles work well if scooted down about 3/16". Larger range of sizes and more common than the MY1014, though the length of the 1014 is perfect.
    The cold treadle sounds preferable to the cold shower.

    I had to take a second look as my brother would be doing this with shorts on and snow on the ground!
    No matter where you are as long as you are quilting its sunny and warm!
