Yes, all is well and good, but after a few weeks of owning this, you are going to see a treadle base for it, and you won't be happy until you find one you can own! Guess how I know????? Yes, I finally found a treadle on eBay, and luckily, the shipping was very reasonable, and it arrived in perfect condition.
