If you can afford it and like it then get it. Simple as that:>

It looks nice. I would go over there and try it out. I think $150 seems fair if it works well and looks nice.

They are well made machines, the price is not a "steal" but not over priced either. If it is complete it will give many more decades of flawless service

    Very beautiful machine. Wow.

As for what it is 'worth', that is always a tough question. The fact is, you may find one cheaper, but the other fact is, could you commission someone to hand-make even just that coffin top for that price, never mind the rest of the machine? It is a personal decision, of course, as to whether you want to buy it. My observation is that these amazing machines are way under-valued, in general, and therefore we can often get them so cheaply, and we get funky ideas as to what things are 'worth; or not. As a thought exercise, put that Naumann handcrank on a table next to an entry level Janome Plastic Fantastic, and ask yourself which one is worth $150... ;-)

If you decide against it I could send my niece over to buy it for me as she is heading north this week! LOL
    Just kidding...

I would say yes, to me it would be worth it. As long as it sews, and the shuttle, at least one bobbin and a needle are included. Those three items may be difficult to find. If you don't have these to start with, it may be really tough to determine which are the correct shuttle, bobbin and needles. I've had that problem with my Pfaff model B hand crank.
This Naumann looks like a beautiful machine.

Why do they all have to be a steal? Why not buy something because you like it and it is good value for the money? Get it if you like it and it puts a smile on your face.

I just think she wants to know if it's overpriced or not. Which is in this case it seems to be pretty fairly priced.
